Mountain Magic in Leadville, Colorado rides the Top of
the Colorado Rockies, and is permitted to operate
on Forest Service land by the US FOREST SERVICE!
Our day rides are on East Tennessee with views of Mt Elbert
[Colorado’s highest peak] and Mt Massive [Colorado’s
largest mountain]. All of our rides start at 10,000 ft.
and
go up from there, with our longest rides topping out at 11,800
ft. Our two day pack trips and full day rides are on West
Tennessee near the
top of the Continental Divide. Our 4 day pack trips go from Vail pass I-70 to Leadville. All of our horseback rides
have GREAT VIEWS, so please remember to bring your camera
and our wrangler will take your picture with our mountains
as your backdrop to help you remember this great experience.
If you or someone
in your group has special needs, we will try and accommodate
you. We can provide a horse for you to lead in our corral
for that young one who is not old enough to go out on the
trail, MUST BE 6 YEARS OLD FOR TRAIL RIDE, or if that special
person in your group can’t ride in the saddle, let us
know in advance and maybe we can arrange a wagon ride.
As we are fond
of mules, you will find some in our saddle mounts and a team
that pull’s our wagon.
We ask that you
arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the scheduled time of your
ride so that we can go over our safety rules. Please try and
contact us for reservations as some of our rides may be full,
but you are welcome to come on out anytime and visit us and
maybe we can accommodate you.
