We have three different hunting units.
Two are in DRAW ONLY AREAS!! One is in Area 48 where we have access to land owner vouchers, and the other
is in Area 49. The third is Area 45 and is not in a draw only area, but an over-the-counter unit. If you want to try to draw one of the two draw areas,
you must put in for it before the April deadline. Contact
Colorado D.O.W. web site wildlife.state.co.us/
for instructions.
Our unit 48 hunt is located on West Tennessee and Mt. Massive. Our unit 49 camp is located south
of Leadville, Colorado, just east of the town of Granite in
the Low Pass area. This is also a Wilderness area, so NO ATVS
to contend with here. This is a very rough and isolated
county and offers some excellent game. Our Unit 45 hunt is located north of Tennessee Pass on US Hwy 24 to the town of Red Cliff, on both sides of US Hwy 24.
Drop Camps include wall tent, stove, cot, table,
firewood, eating and cooking utensils, but you MUST BRING
YOUR OWN sleeping bag and cot pad.
Our hunts DO NOT include
license fees. These Elk licenses need to
be purchased through the COLORADO DIVISON OF WILDLIFE by SPECIAL
DRAWING.

Rates:
Pack Service
- Packing you and your gear:
$250 plus $75 each animal used. Pack animals carry 150 pounds each.
- Packing out Game: $325
Drop Camps:
$1,200/hunter and $600/non-hunter.
Guided hunts with cook - 7 Day trip 5 Day hunt:
$4000 each, minimum 2 hunters.
Guided hunts with cook - 11 day trip 9 day hunt:
$4,750 minimum 2 hunters.
Guided day hunts are $1,125 if you meet us at the trailhead. The $1,125 price includes packing out your game. There will be an additional $300 charge for each extra day after the 3rd day.
We put camps in units 48 and 49 until the end of 2nd rifle, and pack these units until the end of 4th rifle.
Unit 45 has camps until the end of 4th rifle.
RESERVATIONS,
PAYMENTS and CANCELLATIONS
Please make your reservation by area
and hunt dates. Also schedule to arrive the day
before your hunt starts. A $100 deposit is required to hold a camp before the draw, and is non-refundable. The deposit will be put against the hunt itself if you are drawn.
A deposit of 50% down is required to book a camp. The balance is due and payable upon arrival for each
trip.
A 10% discount will be applied for payment received in full before July 15th.
Deposits are refundable if cancellations are received
90 days or more prior to trip date. If less than 90 days the
deposit shall not be refunded, but it can be transferred to
a mutually agreeable hunter. A 10% handling fee is charged
on ALL REFUNDED FEES. No refunds or credits for early departures
or late arrivals. Additional charge for gear weighing over
75 lbs per person is at $75 per horse or mule.
